Greetings

It gives me great pleasure to invite you all to participate the 9th International Forum on Housing & Urban Finance, to explore changes and our responses since the COVID-19 pandemic.

With growing volatility in the global financial market and rapid changes in housing and urban environments, an in-depth analysis of the problems, as well as policy goal-setting, are more important than ever.

It is very timely, therefore, that experts and scholars from around the world will be brought together in December for the first in-person meeting in three years to examine the key issues and share possible solutions and visions for the future.

This year marks the 9th international forum since its inception in 2013, and will present a venue for discussion on the main theme of “Changes in Housing and Urban Environment and Strategic Responses in the Post-Pandemic Era.“

Renowned experts and scholars will share their views and insights on some of the changes, and their implications, in housing and urban environment since the pandemic.

Additionally, the approaches to integrate ESG in housing policy and housing finance will be addressed in Session 1 under the sub-theme of “Housing and Urban Policies in Response to Socioeconomic Changes.”
At Session 2, themed “The Role of Housing Finance in Response to Demographic Changes,” our invited experts will exchange views on how to promote housing stability for seniors and narrow the generational wealth gap.

I sincerely hope that you can join us for the discussion with our distinguished experts and academics at the International Forum on Housing & Urban Finance, which has established itself as a global gathering for housing and urban finance.
